Template to review. This is a plain-English draft for the website and the ValueCall service. It is not legal advice and it is not your signed contract. Ask a solicitor to review it, add the company number and registered office, and treat the signed service agreement and data processing agreement as the documents that govern a live client.
Terms of service
Last updated 9 October 2026
ValueCall is a brand of Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd. It was built by that company and is operated by that company, in the United Kingdom. In these terms, “we” means Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd and “you” means the business looking at the site or taking the service. Contact: info@valuecall.app.
The website
The pages at valuecall.app describe the service. They are an invitation to talk, not a contract by themselves. Ringing the demo or Jack does not sign you up. Prices on the site can change for new clients; a price you have agreed in writing stays as agreed.
You may not misuse the site, attempt to break it, or scrape it in a way that degrades it. The copy, name ValueCall, and graphics are owned by Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd unless stated otherwise.
The service
ValueCall answers inbound calls that your line forwards when you do not pick up, or when the line is busy. It can:
- tell the caller it is an AI assistant, and that the call may be recorded
- sort the call, including alarm, CCTV and access-control faults, new installation enquiries, emergency lockouts and existing customers
- text your firm a summary
- transfer genuine emergencies live to the on-call engineer you name
- book surveys and appointments into your calendar, where that has been set up
You keep your own number. We do not give your customers a new one. You remain responsible for answering, attending and the quality of your own work, including emergencies. The assistant passes calls on. It does not replace your duty to respond.
Plans and prices
No VAT is charged. The figures below are the prices you pay.
- Front Desk: £249 a month, plus a £495 one-off setup. One phone line. 600 minutes a month included. Extra minutes are 20p. Three-month minimum, then month to month. Add-ons: service and maintenance reminders +£50 a month; Google review requests after jobs +£50 a month.
- Control Room: £449 a month, plus a £995 one-off setup. Everything in Front Desk, plus up to 3 phone lines and brands, automated service and maintenance reminders, Google review requests after jobs, and 1,500 minutes a month shared across lines. Extra lines are £49 a month each. 10 or more lines are priced on a custom quote. The minimum term is agreed in your signed agreement.
Minutes are the time the assistant is on calls we answer for you. We will show usage so extra minutes are not a surprise. If a plan’s included minutes are not fully used, they are not carried over and they are not refunded, unless your signed agreement says otherwise.
Setting up, and what you do
Going live is typically within a few days once we have your forwarding details, on-call rota, and the way you want calls handled. You agree the script, including what counts as an emergency and what the assistant may say about price or attendance times. You keep the on-call number staffed. You do not ask the assistant to collect alarm codes, passwords or card details.
Call forwarding is arranged on your line, with you. Your own network may charge for diverted calls. Check that with your provider. We do not control those charges.
What we will not do
- We will not use the AI assistant to make cold sales calls.
- We will not pretend the assistant is a human being.
- We will not clear an alarm, attend a site, or promise an engineer arrival time unless you have set the words we may use.
Recordings and personal data
Callers are told the call may be recorded. For your customers, you are the controller and we are the processor. A data processing agreement is available and should be signed before go-live. Our privacy notice explains the website, the demo line and Jack. It is a template, and it says so.
The assistant can be wrong
ValueCall is a tool. It can mishear someone, book the wrong slot, or fail to transfer. Read the summaries. Tell us when something is off so we can adjust the script. The service is provided with reasonable care. It is not a guarantee that every call becomes a job, or that every emergency is transferred if the network, the on-call phone, or the caller fails.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that English law does not let us limit. That includes death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud.
Suggested cap, for a solicitor to confirm before you use it: apart from those cases, our total liability arising out of ValueCall in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you actually paid us for ValueCall in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of a particular job, or loss you could have avoided by reading a summary and calling the customer back. Do not treat this paragraph as agreed until it is in a signed contract.
How long it runs
Front Desk runs for a minimum of three months, then month to month. After the minimum, you may end it by email to info@valuecall.app. Unless the signed agreement says otherwise, it stops at the end of the month in which we receive that email, and fees already due stay due. We may end the service on the same notice if you do not pay, or sooner if you use it for something unlawful.
Control Room’s term, notice and any minimum are whatever the signed agreement says. If that agreement is silent, ask us to confirm in writing before you rely on a cancellation date.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales hear disputes, except that you may also use a court in the part of the UK where your business is based if the law gives you that right.
If a sentence in this template is found not to apply, the rest still stands. We can update the public template; your signed agreement does not change unless we both agree.
