Template to review. This is a plain-English draft, not legal advice. Before you rely on it, ask a solicitor to check it, and add the company number, registered office, the sub-processors you actually use, and the retention periods you have agreed.
Privacy notice
Last updated 9 October 2026 · ValueCall, a brand of Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd
This notice explains how Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd (“we”) handles personal information in connection with ValueCall. ValueCall was built by Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd and is operated by the same company. Contact: info@valuecall.app. We are based in Shaftesbury, Dorset.
This website
valuecall.app is a static site. It does not set cookies, and it does not use analytics or advertising trackers. There is no account and no contact form.
If you email info@valuecall.app, we receive whatever you send: your address, and the contents of the message. We use that to reply and, if you ask, to register your interest. The hosting provider that serves the site may keep ordinary connection logs, such as IP address and the page requested, for security and troubleshooting. Those logs are the host’s, kept for a short operational period.
Fonts are files on this site. The pages do not load tracking scripts from anyone else.
If you call the demo, or Jack
The live demo on +44 7401 164315 is the AI front-desk receptionist built for Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd. Jack, on +44 7401 149561, is Samuel Bortey’s personal AI assistant. You can call Jack at any time to ask about ValueCall or to register interest. Jack passes the details to Samuel.
Both lines say they are AI assistants, and that the call may be recorded. For these two numbers, Mastermind Security Solutions Ltd is the controller. We use the call, the recording, the transcript and any number you give so we can answer you, improve the demo, and get back to you if you have asked us to. We do not use these lines to make cold sales calls.
If you are a customer of a client firm
When a security firm, locksmith or other business uses ValueCall, that firm is the controller of its callers’ information. We are the processor. We answer the call on the firm’s instructions: sort the reason for the call, send the firm a summary, transfer genuine emergencies, and book appointments if that is what the firm has asked for.
The firm should tell its own customers, in its privacy notice, that calls may be answered by an AI assistant and may be recorded. The call itself also says this at the start. A data processing agreement is available from info@valuecall.app.
The assistant is not there to collect alarm codes, passwords or card numbers. Please do not give those out on the call.
What the call can include
- Your phone number, and any name, address or site details you give
- What the call was about, such as a fault, a new enquiry or a lockout
- A recording and a transcript, where recording is switched on
- The summary text sent to the firm or to the on-call engineer
Why we use it, and how long we keep it
For the website, demo and Jack, our lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering people who contact us, and running a service we have been asked about. You can object. See “Your rights” below.
For a client firm’s callers, the firm chooses the lawful basis and we follow its instructions. Recording is explained at the start of the call.
Suggested retention, to confirm before you publish: call recordings and transcripts for the demo and for client firms kept for up to 90 days, unless a longer or shorter period is agreed in the contract; emails and interest registrations kept while we are in conversation and for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted or anonymised. Change these numbers if they are not what you actually do.
Who else sees it
We use telecommunications and voice-AI providers to carry and answer calls. Some of them may be outside the United Kingdom. Where that is so, we put an appropriate safeguard in place, such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where it applies, or the International Data Transfer Agreement. A list of sub-processors is available on request from info@valuecall.app. Add the real names to this notice once a solicitor has checked them.
We do not sell personal information. We share it with the firm whose line was called, with the on-call engineer they have named, and with suppliers who process it for us. We may also share it if the law requires us to.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to see your information, correct it, delete it, restrict it, or object to its use, and you can ask for a copy in a portable form. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object. You will not be discriminated against for asking.
If we are the processor, we will pass your request to the client firm, who decides it. If we are the controller (the website, the demo, and Jack), write to info@valuecall.app. We may need to confirm it is you.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would like the chance to put things right first.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update the date at the top. For a client firm, the signed data processing agreement governs the service even if this page is revised.
